Indoor skydiving uses a vertical wind tunnel that generates an air column powerful enough for athletes to float completely in mid-air — no aircraft, no parachute required. Athletes control their bodies with millimetre precision, performing formations, speed routines and artistic freestyle at wind speeds of up to 295 km/h.
