At the Jochen Schweizer Arena near Munich, you can experience indoor skydiving in the wind tunnel and indoor surfing on the citywave. In addition, there are VR experiences, racing simulators, an outdoor park with climbing and high ropes courses, and the Phoenix Kitchen & Bar restaurant.
The Jochen Schweizer Arena is located at Ludwig-Bölkow-Allee 1 in 82024 Taufkirchen, just about 15 minutes south of Munich. You can reach it by car via the A8 motorway, exit Taufkirchen-Ost, or by public transport via the X200 express bus. Free parking is available on site.
Entry to the Jochen Schweizer Arena is free. You only pay for the experiences you book – such as indoor skydiving, indoor surfing, or VR. Simply visiting the Phoenix Kitchen & Bar or watching is also possible without an entry fee.
The opening hours for the experiences and restaurants at the Jochen Schweizer Arena vary and may differ on public holidays or during events. You can find the current daily hours on the opening hours page. For promotional flyers and corporate events, the arena is open seven days a week upon request.
The Jochen Schweizer Arena is suitable for the whole family. Indoor skydiving is possible from the age of 4, indoor surfing from 10, and VR experiences from 12.
We recommend booking experiences at the Jochen Schweizer Arena online in advance, as slots are limited. This way you can secure your preferred date. You can also visit the Phoenix Kitchen & Bar without a booking, but a table reservation is recommended.
Yes, the main attractions, indoor skydiving and indoor surfing, take place indoors and are available year-round, completely independent of the weather. VR experiences and racing simulators are also indoors. Only the outdoor park is dependent on the season and weather.
Yes, all experiences at the Jochen Schweizer Arena can be given as gifts. You can purchase specific experiences or flexible gift vouchers that the recipient can redeem themselves. You can receive the vouchers digitally via email or as a printed version.
